Johnny DeFeo

DeFeo lives and works in Taos, New Mexico. Defeo’s artwork illustrates the complex and layered relationship we have with the land. His works have been included in exhibitions at the 1969 Gallery (New York), The Valley (Taos), Visions West Contemporary (Denver, Bozeman, Livingston), Van Rensburg Gallery (Milton, AUS), and The University of Denver Museum of Art. Defeo is also co-founder of Adventure Painting, a traveling artist residency organized along with painter Aaron Zulpo and Andrea Heimer.
